i did log in from the link, but hopefully.. all they got was the password.. whcih i've changed. thank god i didn't type in my cc info.

that is definitely a scam. was the email in your inbox or spam? even if it's in your inbox, sometimes it can sneak in there, dont click on links. go directly to paypal.com (or any other site) and see wat's up. if there are no notices on your main page then don't worry.
All suspicious e-mails should be forward to spoof@paypal.. most of the time they are just phishing but paypal will respond rather quickly to your concern.
Change your password and all the advice from above tpf'ers should calm your nerves.

I got the keyfob one (can also be tied to your ebay accnt) but you can get a free one that pages your phone with an extra # that you need to get into your account.

Also it should show up in your "My Ebay" messages to be legit right???^^Also be aware that real e-mails from PP should address you by your full name - anything starting with "Dear Paypal member" should be deleted...
Normally PP emails aren't send to da 'BAY, but I don't know if there is a messages section in your PP account that mirrors the 'BAY one...

As long as you don't tie the key to your ebay account you'll be able to use the sniper programs if you use them. Otherwise, sniper programs won't work cause they'll need the fob # to get into your account to bid on your behalf..Thank you, Bunny! I'm checking into this today!
