fjord or vl for b40

I saw togo with canvas lining in H Hawaii last month. Half the weight of Fjord and buttery soft. I compared the two (togo birkin, fjord hac) in 50 cm, so I don't know about 40s but the fjord was really stiff sided and hard to open.
PS The Birkin doesn't live in Hawaii anymore Mahalo

Not sure...VL might scratch more easily... But can only make direct comparisons to togo and clemence...no experience w/ fjord...

I have been lugging my 40cm B in VL on numerous flights and love the size and weight of it.

Although prefer leather look of fjord and in Rouge H, to die for.

For practical reasons would go with the VL. Had a black fjord Birkin 40 and it was SOOOO heavy, decided to sell.
