I ordered a fitbit wristband on preorder the day they came out on the TB site. It came and was teeny tiny. I could wear it but it was tight. I like my fitbit loose like a bracelet (I wear my watch the same way). The band was also not secure and came off while I wore it sitting on my couch at home not doing anything much at all. I commented on the site and left my rating and to my surprise, almost all of the comments were negative. Its been pretty much sitting in my nightstand drawer in the cute little bag it came in...

Today I got an email from TB that they were sending me a new and improved one and that it now comes in two sizes and if I didn't get the size I wanted, they would send me another one. How cool is that?

Color me impressed with the customer service.

I know there are people that have complained about the quality and service but I have nothing but good things to say. They have always got back with me on any issues that I've had.

Nice. I have a fit bit model for which an accessory wasn't made, but I wondered about these and I'm glad to hear they're making adjustments to keep customers happy.

I've been pre-ordered for the fitbit band since August. I wonder if the delay is due to the improvement? I have contacted them several times and got the "we plan to address this in the next few weeks". Thanks for sharing! I was just looking to see if anyone else had a ridiculous delay on getting the band.

My surprise fitbit arrived last night. Same color, improved closure and seems like it would be better. I took advantage of the free return shipping to get a larger size. The one that came was XS/S and definitely fit my wrist on the 3rd hole but I prefer mine in that style to be a little looser since I wear them 24x7. Also, I feel like it is more secure if you use the holes further up the band. It does have a band that slides down to keep it in place.

I will post pictures when my replacement shows up. I put the box into the UPS dropbox at work this morning so maybe in a week or two, I'll get the replacement. I will still remark that this is excellent customer service as my only complaint was in the form of my review on the site.

The gold ones are really pretty. I just ordered the silicon band, I bought my husband a Fitbit for Christmas with a plain old black band, I'm thinking I'll use it now if it's a cute design. I ordered the M/L as the measurements were really small.

Just a little tip for the new bands: as cute as the gold fastener is, the one I got with my Fitbit is much more secure. I lost my new one the first night(found it on my floor, thank goodness), then replaced the gold fastener and combined with the new security band have not had an issue since.
