Hi All,
I have decided I really want to get a vintage coach to rehab. Originally I wanted a Stewardess bag but I really want it to be a crossbody and the strap isn't long enough. Now I am looking at a legacy zip or rambler bag. Any insight on them? It does not need to be huge since I tend to like smaller crossbody bags (the kate spade ellen size works for me) but I am torn between which to get.

Any insight is appreciated!

Thanks.

Look at the Pocket Purse (9755) and a Basic Bag (9455) also.

It's your first vintage coach? You will fall in love with the quality I am telling you now. And if it is your first, I recommend finding one in decent to excellent condition so you don't have to do too much rehab.
I personally found it's easier to do harder rehabs once you dip your feet in a little first.

Personally I don't like the Legacy zip. There is a lot of extra leather which makes it heavier. I love Rambler's Legacy from the 90s. They aren't exactly vintage but they have really nice leather, and are so cute! Many 90s and even early 2000s bags have fantastic leather.

Don't get anything from the Lightweights line. They fade too much and are really hard to rehab. A pocket purse or convertible clutch would be fairly easy. Also, a Legacy small flap, compartment bag, Blazer bag, or Maggie duffle.

I find court and Willis bags to be a little more challenging to rehab because of the top handle.
