Hello everyone!

I recently got my first plastic surgery ever (rhinoplasty), before I had a short tip, however I'm post-op 7 days now, I know it's too early to tell but when I look my side profile my tip looks exactly the same as before my surgery... like the tip is not extended at all, the angle of my tip and philtrum looks also the same... I don't even have the 'piggy' nose look that most people have after their cast get off because as I said before I had a short tip so I can't tell the difference now... I'm a bit concerned that the doctor didn't extend the tip as much as I wanted

hi Elagrace, did your nose tip drop? can you describe the timeline? i'm really anxious :(

nose tip always drops to some degree, whether you use autologous cartilage or irradiated for the tip. An exception if when the SEG technique is used together with a collumela strut. But that also renders the tip stiff and not much movement. That method, still will have some tip drop post swelling + resorption but its so mild it usually is bare noticeable. Its not suitable for all nose structures tho
