w/the uber high cost of LV in Japan, the savings she got from purchase in DC probably put some hefty change towards the travel expense. IF i had the $, i would flew myself to HI just for Sophie when it came out!

Wow. I would assume she had other things to do/people to see in DC and that is why she selected this location? Which boutique was this, the Chevy Chase one?
