First rolex

Dear ladies, I m buying my first Rolex, and I cant decide if I want oyster or datejust, I m into 31mm size. What would you recomend for a first watch? I d like it to be classic! Also , I d appreciate your recomendation about configuration

A lot of options and chat are in the existing Rolex threads. Pages and pages with photos and convos. Have you tried the Search function?

Nothing beats going to a dealer or several and seeing them in person and on your wrist. Things that might appeal in photos may just not work for you, and vice versa.

My first was an 31mm Oyster perpetual fluted bezel with diamond markers, perfect size and versatile style imo. It was a great first Rolex for me

My first Rolex has a diamond bezel and diamond dial, though beautiful it never gave casual vibes. My 2nd Rolex is by far my favorite; a fluted bezel, stick markers, all wrapped in a Jubilee bracelet- simple and classy!

Definitely recommend going into a store to try on the sizes. Nowadays (thankfully) they have enough stock for try-ons so you can get an idea of which size and style you prefer. I was also trying to decide between OP and DJ, but decided for DJ with an oyster bracelet because I wanted the fluted bezel - it's just a gorgeous detail I couldn't give up. Go try on and have fun!
