First LV Shawl/Scarf

I would like to add a LV Shawl/Scarf to my wardrobe and not sure which one to go with Petite Louis, Monogram, Monogram Shine, ... Like to stay in the $700 range, anything over $750 is too much right now.
My winter coats are camel and black, and got Burberry quilted coat in the olive color. Generally my fall and winter clothes are grey and black, but I'm not afraid of color. Any thoughts about pros and cons, or durability of one over the other?

I appreciate this question and look forward to hearing from others with more shawl/scarf experience than I have. I have one shawl (teal) that I bought to go with the teal V-monogram Neverfull from a few years ago. I have never worn it because I don't style shawls well. (I suppose it's time to learn.) I cannot comment on pros and cons or durability but would love to hear from others.

I remember seeing a member's post for the Monogram Shawl in Wine, which I think would complement your wardrobe described above. Her picture was stunning, and the shawl has been on my Wish List ever since. Here's a link to the post of the shawl IRL:

Since you said you are not afraid of color, I looked up this shawl. Some time in the past 2-3 months, another member posted pics of this shawl, which were gorgeous! I'm tempted to buy it, but I think the colors are too similar to my pastel Escale pareo from last summer.

Have you taken a look at the stoles? I have two stoles. I prefer them as it’s less fabric around the neck. I tend to get hot easily and I live in a warmer winter state. I also look at the fabric content to make sure it is of a ‘lighter’ material. I believe the ones I have are a blend. I’d have to look as it’s been awhile since I’ve worn them. I do love them. Is it worth the price??? Meh, but they make me happy when I wear them as I find them pretty.

I have a few shawls and love them, so handy for spring and autumn to use as a scarf or just to cover the shoulders. but in regards to durability... basically all you need to do is LOOK at them and they snag. lol

I have a classic monogram shawl, a lezard stole (similar to leopard style) and a monogram gradient scarf. All are of excellent quality, I’ve had no issues with pulling, fraying or bobbling on any of them. I’m sure whichever style you opt for you’ll be pleased with your purchase. My personal favourite of the three I own is probably the monogram shawl which I have in anthracite, just because it’s classic and goes with everything.

I was very hesitant in purchasing my first shawl due to the "dry clean only" maintenance and I would not trust any dry cleaner.

I found this thread below which helped my decision. I purchased the By the Pool Shawl in Blue as I loved the enlarged flower motifs. For you, I think any of the monogram would accent your wardrobe. Really depends on your color preference. Try to go to the store and see which one makes your heart sing! I love touching them - they are so soft !

Yes, I washed my monogram scarves. In the machine.

on the handwash setting. The two were looking a bit grimy after their constant use, and i decided to give it a go as I needed them cleaned like, now. It worked great. Hung them up to dry dripping wet, 2 hrs later they look as good as new. Just sayin'.
