First LV purchase - disappointed

I purchased my first LV yesterday. A beautiful speedy b 25. However I’ve taken it out of its box today to wear and I’m not sure of the quality.
It seems as though the strap seems to be splitting (see images) and there is permanent fold marks where the bag has been folded for storage - is this normal?
Should I take the bag back?!

The folds are normal and will disappear with wear, but that handle is not.

I would definitely take it back. See what your SA says but handle looks off. Also, at least it happens to me, once I have noticed a flaw, I cannot stop looking at it.

Definitely feel more at piece with the folds knowing they will drop but the handle is glaring at me. I feel as though it’s one of those things that will get worse the more I use the bag. Feel silly for not initially noticing it as well!
Will take it back on Monday and see what my SA says which with all the Christmas shoppers is going to be hectic!

The speedy is a well maufactured bag, your probably caught onto something which resulted in this. The speedy design is one of the LV icons and there are almost never complaints about the wear and tear on this forum. If something does happen, LV has a generous policy for repairs or even replacements

I would exchange the bag because of the handles. The folds are normal and disappear over time. The Speedy, like the Keepall, is designed to be stored folded.

Thank you for the reassurance. I definitely can’t have caught it on anything.. Simply took it out the box, packed it up and wore it out the house - noticed it as soon as I sat down in the car hence my disappointment.
Definitely going to take it back to the store though as I do love the bag!
