Just want to share my first LV online purchase experience. It’s a small item so I kinda want to try out the delivery before any bigger purchase.

Place order on Aug 31
Shipped on Sep 3
Arrive Sep 9

the delivery guy actually rings the bell and give the package to me, instead of just leaving on the floor (like those amazon delivery) . Although the email mention should sign the package but I was not asked to sign . May be due to Covid?!
Anyway the packaging is pretty nice .

Lovely! Glad that your first online shopping experience with LV was a success. I had my first delivery for quite a while a few days ago, and the guy rang my doorbell rather than leaving the parcel too, but he asked to see my ID and actually took my license from me to read it. :wtf: I was a bit surprised by that because as you said, I haven't been asked even to sign for a parcel for a long time. I had to immediately disinfect it when he left. LOL.

I have that strap and it is great!
Since Covid ups has just rang the bell and asked me my last name. I would be very surprised if they asked for ID! You must have gotten something pretty special!!

It was just a card holder! I was surprised too. I wasn't asked to sign, but before he would hand it over, he said "I'm going to need to see a driving license or a passport". Strange!

If I have my regular UPS driver, he rings the bell but is walking away by the time I get to the door. I yell thank you and assume he signs for me. We're practically on a first name basis with all the purchases I've made during covid. If I get another driver, they recently began asking me to physically sign. They used to just ask me to spell my last name.

Ha ha! This is me too! No ID needed as he totally knows who I am and he signs for me! And if I am not home he leaves an attempted delivery notice and comes back the next day - he would not leave a “sign for” package on my doorstep thankfully (I’m sure yours would not either). I am beginning to think I need to buy our UPS person a Starbucks gift card this Christmas to thank him for all the deliveries since COVID!

I don’t live near very close to a boutique so I most receive my LV orders by UPS delivery most of the time. I am always nervous that it will get damaged in transit, or lost (eeek!), but everything I have received has been great, and fast shipping even if I have not paid extra for overnight.

Great to hear most online purchase here being positive! I saw from other brand forum that package doesn’t seem to always arrive in perfect condition so I was a bit worry . But canvas item seems to go out too fast I am afraid my SA cannot reserve it . ( especially small item I’d rather not bother her).
