First LV in about 5 years! Mama needs help

I haven’t bought an LV bag since before I had my first baby 5 years ago! I now have 3 little ones and barely reach for my bags anymore. My hubby got me a cute YSL crossbody a couple of years ago for my birthday so between that and my diaper bags that’s all I wear lol A few days ago he said he ordered me an early Mother’s Day gift! It showed up and it’s a gorgeous black and beige empreinte leather neverfull. I LOVE the colours and the leather, however I find now that I’m a mom I only want smaller crossbody bags. I’m dressed more non the casual side most of the time and I like my hands free. I also tried on the NF and the straps seem so much shorter than my classic mono NF. I don’t think I want a shoulder bag… unless it’s a big shoulder strap that would fit over an coat. Anyway, I’m stumped on what to exchange it for. I know the empreinte leather is dressier in general but Id still love something in it. These are bags I’m debating between. I’d love feedback, opinions and suggestions

Anything in Empriente will be dressier. I am a crossbody wearer. I wear mini bags now, but I have owned all of these bags except for the multi pouchette. The neonoe is too bulky for crossbody everyday IMO. Speedy 25 also is wide. If you carry less, go for Speedy 20 over 25 for crossbody.

Metis has a slimmer profile, but it is still a little clunky for crossbody, but I am sure others will disagree. For crossbody I would go with the multi pouchette. Slimmer silhouette and you have the option of carrying one pouch or two for days you need more. It's versatile and beautiful in the bi-color leather. I actually love that bag but only need the small pouch (lol). LV crossbody straps tend to be shorter than other brands, so I remedy that with extenders.

Pochette Metis is my most favourite bag and it comes in the same colour combo as your neverfull. Mine has taken a beating and still looks amazing. Next pick would be the speedy b 25.

I have the all black one.

I would recommend watching some YouTube reviews on the bags that interest you. I was set on getting the Neo Noe and after watching reviews on this bag and comparison videos btwn this bag and others ended up with the DA Noe bb which is perfect for me!!

I have a Pochette Metis in monogram canvas but I am a little weary about wearing it because I've heard so many quality issues! It is so pretty and versatile - easy to dress up and down and I love the compartments, but I am just worried about cracking!

I also have a Speedy B25 in DE - really am enjoying wearing the bag. The ONLY downside about this bag is how small the opening is. Ugh, I can't stand it!! But for sure it fits all of my essentials and snacks for all my kids. Just depends on how much you want to struggle to pull that apple pouch out!

At least with speedy B, you have to struggle to pull out some of your kids things. I don’t think you can even fit much of the kids things in pochette Métis, multi pochette or noe bb.

So it depends on @Tia_xo - do you want this to be YOUR BAG solely or your bag which can sneak in a few of your kids things sometimes? Because there is only speedy B 25 that could sneak in a few kids things sometimes. The other options are just gonna be YOUR BAG and you have to pack another bag for your kids.

Honestly I prefer to keep my kids things in their own bag. I have so many diaper bags I love that are cute but I want my own bag! So now looking again at my options I think the pochette Métis is gorgeous but too dressy for me. I’m looking at MAP, Bagatelle (it looks like it can be worn crossbody no?), Palm Springs mini, Montsouris bb or prada re-edition. I know the MAL and prada bag may not be on trend anymore but I kinda feel like that’s my style and I don’t foresee myself starting to get really dressy anytime soon but back to what you said… I don’t need to fit any kids things in my purse. I currently own an alma bb vernis, Alma pm vernis, nf mm mono, 2012 kusama speedy 30, monogramouflage speedy 35, a YSL lou camera bag and a Gucci marmont… I have a little Mila multicolore somewhere but lost it when I moved :( so I guess what I’m looking for is cute, casual and fun. Something I will actually use and not sit in my closet like all my other LV bags :(

I have all five of the bags you mentioned and my personal opinion, given what you stated, is the multi pochette in either material. Empriente if you have no need for the coin purse and do not prefer the wider strap(both are adjustable) and removable chain. I have the monogram and love the strap because it stays in place for shoulder cary and of course can be adjusted for crossbody.I like to clip my key pouch with my id and a few credit cards where the round coin purse attaches unless I need my AirPods (both pro and regular fit if that's an item you need to carry). I love that I can use either pochette on its own and opt to remove the gold chain if I want. The NeoNoe is also one of my favorites but it's actually a rather big bag. It fits about as much as my Neverfull MM and with the square shape doesn't really hug the body well. The Speedy 25 also is an odd shape for crossbody/doesn't hug the body and both my speedy and Neonoe seem to bump into things a lot when I carry them. I love the book bag look of my Metis, but I don't love that the interior is separated into 2 main pockets, limiting how much I can carry. I carry about the same amount of items in either the Multi Pochette or Metis, but prefer the different carry options with the Pochette accessories.

The little speedy is one of my favorite bags, it's such a good size! MPA was disappointing, at least with the stuff I like to carry (a phone or two, keys, wallet, and little bit of makeup)

i vote for the MPA because it's very versatile. Like Gypsygirl said you can use either pochette on its own and you can remove the golden chain if you like it to wear the bag more casual.
I'm not a fan of the Pochette Metis, I have had 3 and have sold it all. The closure is so unpractical, the bag isn't good to open if it's not well filled. And for me it's a little bit too "bulky", I'm not very tall.
