First LV bag - 25, 30, damier ebene, epi or SC PM?

Hi everyone!

I would really appreciate your input as to which I should get as my first Louis Vuitton bag. I already own a blue vernis wallet and cles, and am planning to purchase a vernis pomme agenda.

I've narrowed down my bag choices to the following:
Speedy 25 or 30 in either damier ebene or epi leather (red/black)
Sofia Coppola PM (in cherry)

I'm about 5 ft 4, 125 lbs, and an undergrad uni student. Do you think the 25 or 30 would be better for my height/age?

I usually don't carry much on a daily basis (most of my stuff can easily fit into a medium Lady Dior bag).

Oh and I heard that the 25 is a bit narrow to get into for those with larger hands. I have pretty small hands lol. Any opinions will be very much appreciated

I don't carry much either. 5'5" 1/2 145lbs. I had the 30. It was perfect for my needs as far as size. Hope that helps. Good luck with your decision!

Hmm...if you have the option, you could go for the SC It looks classy and not too common.

I would go with either the SC or the DE 30. Both are lovely bags. Good luck with your decision

for speedy sizes i use both 30 and 35. i would not get size 25 for every day usage.

for reference i am probably around the same height as you!

but the best thing to do is try them at the boutique

SC hands down! But if you decide on the DE Speedy I would definitely go for the 30!

I'd get the DE Speedy 30 for your first LV -- see how you like using it - how you like the shape, etc. If you love it (I think you will), I'd get the SC next.

If I had the budget for it I would get the SC. DE Speedy 30 would be my second choice.

if you can get it the SC in Cherry is gorgeous! I like speedies in the 25, but in epi it's a little harder to get into, so my second choice would be epi speedy 30 in Noir.

if you can afford it, get the sc. but if you're wanting a more iconic bag go for the speedy 25. i don't carry a lot either so the 25 is plenty of room, and the 30 is great for when you need to carry extras (snacks, sweater, water bottle...)

Amen to that!! I just got the sc pm in cherry a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it!!!!
