So after my darling BF tried surprising me with a Guccisima Soho (second hand purchase) from eBay which turned out to be fake (Thanks TPF authenticators for your speedy authentication) he instead took me out to buy my first Gucci bag yesterday at the Chadstone Boutique here in Australia.

I originally wanted the Rose Beige but with word Gucci will be taking the Soho's off the line soon or changing them the SA advised they sold out of Rose Beige but if I desperately wanted one I could wait on back order for it but unsure how long it would be.
So instead went with Black as an impulse buy because I'm so impatient.

I love it but wondering if I should have held out to see if they could order in a Rose Beige for me.

Has anyone else regretted their colour choice when buying their Soho's because your preference wasn't available in store?

I'm seriously considering returning it tomorrow and exchanging it for Rose Beige once they're in stock.

Beautiful bag and very nice of your DH!
The black is a great classic but if your heart is set on the Rose Beige and you can definitely get one sometime soon, wait for the Rose Beige.
I have a black Disco and it's lovely but wish I'd bought the red because I own too many black bags.

Wow, what a great job they did with the gorgeous packaging!
I love the black. But, if you have your heart set on the rose beige, you might not be happy....
It seems like rose beige is harder to find than black, so maybe wait in the black for later?

Frustrating I know:)
Either way, Congratulations, and you will have a great soho disco, no matter the color!

thank you all, I think because I own so many black bags that I thought I should try something else and after looking through the threads here and watching YT videos I noticed Rose Beige is a popular favourite and its beautiful...although I haven't seen it in person which could change my mind altogether :)

I'm so much the same...so many black bags except for the odd LV in monogram and ebene print.

Black I find is easier to maintain but a nice nude bag is making me really consider swapping

The black is gorgeous and I have the black myself. The Rose Beige is also a gorgeous neutral so if that is the one you want then I would exchange. The Rose Beige in person is like a light tan colour. No pink undertones. BTW the Rose Beige is available on the Gucci Australia website so it shouldn't take Chadstone that long to get it in for you - maybe a few days.
