Hello
I’m looking to get my first goyard and am torn between the St. Louis pm or the cap sac vert . Looking for a durable bag that can be used daily . I don’t carry a lot so usually have a smaller handbag but do have a baby so the space in a tote is nice though I don’t necessarily want to make my bag a spot for baby items :). More wondering if you have both which you reach for more or find more comfortable to wear. Thank you!

I personally use my cap vert more than my St. Louis. My St. Louis is a light color so I’m more careful and rotate it with other totes. Cap vert is great for weekends when I only need my essentials.

I think it depends on how much stuff you need with you. When my kids were younger and I had to follow them everywhere at the playground, I preferred a small crossbody and left all the other baby stuff in a big diaper bag with the stroller.

The St. louis can hold a lot but I would definitely get an organizer to protect the interior and provide different pockets for all the baby stuff.

Hi swanky great point about being hands free! I am sure that will be much easier in the future when he is also walking, I have heard that the strap can be short which may be a problem too when wearing a bulkier top. Thank you for your input!

Hi thank you so much for your input. Right now I am using a small diaper bag since he is a baby and doesn’t have a lot of extras I need to pack around and then I use my regular handbag for me . I prefer keeping them separate but then a couple mom friends suggested just one larger tote is nice. I’m glad to hear you use the crossbody a lot it seems like the perfect size and very useful when I want to be carefree and not worry about my handbag as much with leather. I live in a rainy area too which is another reason I like the canvas

I totally agree .
Especially that you said you carry usually small bags .
I love my cap vert for a daily bag.
The Saint Louis I use mainly .for work ,as I need a light big bag to carry my cloths work and other work essentials .I use it for sleep over and shopping . I didn’t use for travel is it is an open bag and used a cheaper bag for travel that I can through around and worry about it.
And yes , the canvas of Goyard is easy to maintain that’s what got me hooked !
