    Before I even move on to your next pic, I have to say that you are the most thoughtful person ever! To save for years to get your mom a Birkin is PRICELESS. You really are the sweetest.

    Just by the beautiful handles, I can tell it is a keeper! :smile:
    That is an interesting point made about the twillys on the handles. I don't put twillys on my birkin, but others can chime in. I doubt the pigment from the silks would bleed onto them, but since I have no experience with this, I am interested to know the answer to your question as well. :smile:

    First off this is absolutely the sweetest thing. U saved for years & instead of buying yourself something u gifted ur mom with a beautiful bag!

    As for the twilly problem u mentioned-I've never had this happen & I live in a humid, hot climate & have never had an issue at all.
