Hello ladies and boys,
I am Erin and I have been on the lookout since a year now for purchasing my first designer handbag
Preferably one that won't break the bank but is still not too low either
A bag that you COULD dress up and down, or a bag that fits to almost any outfit and/or occasion
I only need a small one that can fit a wallet and a phone, small things like this, but a slightly bigger one would be ok too
My limit would be around 2.500+ in euros
The top ones I have on my heart are:
  • Lady Dior bag in black or nude
  • YSL Sac du Jour in black or in black croc material
  • A micro/mini Hermes kelly (not sure about the prices in EURO though)
  • Louis Vuitton cappucine
  • and maybe the Hermes Constance in a happy bright colour that would still match to any outfit
Another one that I also love the style/design of is the Louis Vuitton pochette felicie (althought it's a bit too small for me, I would still take it in consideration)
Also is there a "Affordable" Chanel model that would be around 2.500-3.000?

Any other micro/mini bags suggestions would be really appreciated!
I'm very happy to be able to talk about this with like minded people :)

Kelly pochette is my dream bag so it definitely gets my vote, but the price is 4000+ euros and also extremely difficult to get. Mini kelly and constance 18 is 5000-6000 euro range, both are hard to get and I don't think you would be able to save much on the prelove market either.

Among the rest I think lady dior meets all your criteria. Chanel minis also tick all the boxes and within your budget.

Usually I recommend LV for first designer bag however since you have a higher budget I would go for Chanel unless you like monogram or want something indestructible. LV is releasing tones of wocs this season so if felicie is too small you can check out the new ones.

It’d be impossible to get the Hermès Pochette or Mini Kelly unless you have an established relationship with a SA and have a strong spending history with the brand. They are also over your budget.

I’d definitely pick a Chanel Mini - both cute and classy at the same time. And Chanel bags are timeless - I’m still using the same Chanel classic flag I bought ten years ago.

As stated above, Hermes is by far out of your budget range.
Contrary to the other posters, I would go for Dior (stretching your budget a bit). The LD is a classic (just like Chanel bags), and I prefer Dior style-wise and quality-wise to Chanel.

yes, the lv felicie would definitely be too small. have you seen the croisette? comes in DA or DE, its excellent as handheld or crossbody. perfect for all occasions and i believe the size would fit all your essentials.

I looked at the chanel minis, they seem waaay too small and i feel like they dont offer much only the fact that it is chanel, compared to the Lady dior mini its a bit bigger and it has more personality to it i would say, and also a zipper inside

I checked the Lady dior mini and its exactly 2.500 if not even 2.450 if i get it in golden hardware.
I also would prefer Dior style wise and quality wise

Im not sure, I mean all i ever carry around is my phone (iphone 8+), my chanel lipstick and chanel mirror and my ids. I think/would hope it would fit haha
