Chanel flap! It's more classic and resell value is much higher than gsts! any particular styles/colors you have in mind?

I recently got a classic flap medium, caviar in black and I'm absolutely in love with it! You wouldn't regret it
The only thing is I have a long zip around wallet and that just doesn't fit in when I'm wearing my medium classic flap..

I really do think that the Classic Flap is one of the best first Chanel purchases. Mine was a Jumbo Black Caviar Single Flap with Gold Hardware. Still have it & still love it!
I won't list all of the reasons here, but there are a million reasons basically! You won't regret it.

another vote for classis flap....1 of (if not the most) quintessential chanel bags. Unless you love the GST style more or you need to carry more around but I think CF is perfect 1st chanel bag. GOOD LUCK!!

Thank you all for your help. I think I'm going to get a Black Jumbo flap in carviar. I saw a pre-love one for $4200 in excellent condition, minor scratches on hardware. Is this a good price?

The ladies here suggested Boutique Patina, Yoggi's closet, and fashionphile. They also have a thread with reputable sellers on ebay.
