Hi all!

I have been eyeing the Celina Nano Luggage for the last few months. I was in Europe in January and tried it out in the store and loved it. I wish I had bought it then but, for whatever reason, decided to hold off. I'm now back in NY and the price is much, much higher. I have no trips planned anywhere until the pandemic is less of a concern. I really want to take the plunge on the Nano Luggage but I am not sure about spending ~$1000 more in the US (not including tax) when it is significantly less in Europe. Money really isn't an issue, but it is more the principal of it. Should I wait?! Should I look for pre-owned?

I'm also toying between the colors. I love black and wear black all the time, but recently I've been thinking about adding some more neutral (bieges and greys) to my wardrobe. I don't really have any designer bags that are black other than my classic Chanel bag (which I don't use at all), which is why I was leaning toward the black, but I also love the souris and the biege tone. I have a Valentino cross body in a light grey and one in blue with black accents.

Thoughts? :)

Hi! I also love the Celine Nano Luggage, I decided I wanted it a couple months ago but refuse to buy it in the US. There are other bags I want though so I’m still satisfied lol. I just won’t pay that much more when I could get it for significantly less overseas, even if I have to wait a year

If you think you’re likely to get enough use out of it between now and you’re next trip, than I’d go for it. If not, I’d maybe hold off - I was in a similar situation this summer and decided to hold off to purchase a bag I know I’ll save much more on in Europe and instead purchased a couple bags that were on my wishlist but wouldn’t have as great of a saving if I waited.

Keep us posted if you decide to purchase on what colour you go with!

That's what I'm thinking, too! I'm normally in Europe 3-4 times a year so I figured I can just wait it out. I have waited this long so why not? LOL

Thank you! :) Such a hard decision on the colors.

Is it worth it to buy new at all? You’d get the new logo instead if the old one
I had a friend say the same since their re-well value isn’t great. For what it’s worth my friend just got a Celine Micro pre loved and it was in fantastic condition for nothing near retail if OP wants to try that route!

Thanks, I've been thinking that as well but I'm not sure how to authenticate it and also so challenging to but preowned without seeing it. But I will definitely explore it more as I don't know when this virus will get better :(

I completely understand, Ive never bought a bag pre owned because i’m scared lol. One day i might but i understand your hesitation! Returning is just so annoying to me

I have the Nano in black and it goes with everything, so with regards to colors, the black with take you anywhere. However, their Kohl or Souris are stunning.... the price though... in the US you get such a higher price tag!!!
now I am considering the Mini in Kohl, just love love love this design, and the Nano, you won't regret it, in terms of use it is my most used bag and after two years it still looks new... I hope we can travel soon so you can find one for a better price tag without the taxes!!

I have the nano in kohl and it is one of my fave bags. I do not get tired of it ! You do have to be a bit careful with jeans as I did get some color transfer on the handles but honestly it doesn't bother me and its because I use it happily so its fine.

Are the zippers on the nano easy to zip? Or do you still have to two-hand it and wiggle it a bit to zip open and close? This is the only thing I need to know before making my final decision on whether to buy it or not. ☺️

You do need to hold the bag with one hand and use the other to work the zipper but no wiggling. The zipper is pretty seamless.
I sold my souris nano luggage and I admit it’s one of the only bags I regret selling. It is so light, fits a ton, and the leather is amazing
