Hi guys,

I’m planning to purchase my first Cartier piece but I’m in dilemma whether I should choose the JUC bracelet or the mini Panthere watch.

I’ve always been a jewellery girl and don’t own a watch but I love the look of Panthere. But then again, the JUC looks lovely when paired with my other two bracelets! I also tried on the classic JUC and Love rings. Personally I feel like the smaller, thin ones suit me better as I have thin wrists and fingers..

So, my options are:
1. Mini Panthere watch
2. JUC bracelet
3. JUC ring + Love ring

Here are the pictures and let me know your thoughts! :)

So exciting!! Are you a white gold or yellow/rose gold person or do you mix and match? I like the watch (the bigger one) but I personally prefer yellow/rose over white gold these days so I would look at the watch in yellow or two tone.
The JUC looks perfect on you!

I don’t mind mixing yellow and white gold! Cartier’s rose gold isn’t bad either as it doesn’t appear too pink. My mind is saying I should get the watch as it’s more of a substantial piece but my heart is saying the JUC bracelet!

Just some of my thoughts / things to think about:

1. Mini Panthere watch
- Are you intending to read time? or wear this more like jewelry? The mini is very very small.
Having said that, I can vouch for the Panthere's comfort, it is a very comfortable watch to wear. Great daily piece.
My wrists are on the smaller side, I suggest trying on bigger sizes just to make sure you want the mini.

2. JUC bracelet
- It may have a tendency to snag on knits. My JUC ring does it relatively often.
- Due to the irregular shape, some people find it uncomfortable, and can't wear it daily. Others do not mind. I think it's a matter of personal preference, but it's something to keep in mind.
- It is a stunning piece, I personally prefer the regular size, but if you feel the small version is more appropriate for you, I understand.

3. JUC ring + Love ring
- Rings are how I started off in fine jewelry. The JUC narrow ring was one of my first Cartier pieces and I love it! I'd just make sure that you get the perfect size for you. It's not perfectly circular, so it can be a bit tricky to find the right size. When I brought mine home I did the shake test and the ring flew off my finger. I quickly went back to exchange 1 size down and it's the one I have today.
- I don't have the love ring but its my husband's wedding band. It is easy and comfortable to wear. Easy to stack as well.

Generally I'm a: watches > fine jewelry > bags ; sort of person.

However, I personally find the mini panthere too small.
Therefore, out of all the options, I'd say go for the JUC bracelet. Even if you choose the small over the regular, I think with the rising prices, it's just better to get the bigger ticket items first and buy the small stuff later.

You really can't go wrong with either ~ both classic and pieces you'll wear forever! Maybe buy one now and make a plan for a future purchase of the other one.
The mind usually makes more rational decisions than the heart but the heart wants what it wants, lol.
You can't make a mistake though because both are great!

I think it depends what you have. I personally love rings so I started with the medium clash ring and juc ring with diamonds (reg size). The watch is more statement, and the thin juc is understated but you can maybe wear everyday. Rings are something you can wear everyday as well and can switch out easily. Either way - all great pieces to start.

Small JUC bracelet! I'm a bit biased as I have one and love mine, I leave it on 24/7 and it's very comfortable.
I'm not really a massive watch person but if I was spending a bit more on a nice watch I'd prefer an automatic. The rings I like but bracelets are the things that really bring me joy
If your heart is saying bracelet get the bracelet!

Mind you I'm a bit of an outcast here. I feel jewellery is jewellery and a watch is a watch. I never spend big bucks on a watch since I like to change them out. Also I can't get with the cost of repairs for an expensive watch. Jewellery is one and done! See the photo of my watch and Love combo. Enjoy your new piece whichever route you chose to go!

I agree that you can’t make a mistake here—they are all lovely, classic pieces and you should choose what makes your heart flutter.

Personally, I love the way your current bracelets look and don’t think you need another. I would choose the watch (looks amazing on you!) or the rings. Can I also humbly suggest that you try on the new white gold JUC ring with diamonds? Cartier’s yellow and rose gold tones are amazing but I’m loving how white metals pop on your skin. Happy shopping and let us know what you choose!

I wear my thin JUC 24/7! It's my favourite luxury purchase and I find it makes my outfits look more put together. I've had it for almost 2 years and it has snagged on my knits maybe three times.

However I don't think it fits your current stack. Perhaps it would work on the other wrist or if you're trying to move into YG?

I love this combo for its intentional or unintentional irreverence. Fabulous.

The rings look really great on you so that would be my first choice. I have the small jug ring and wear it on my pinky.
As others mentioned already, it does snag on clothing all the time but I still absolutely love it.
