First bag suggestion?

Okay, so recently I’ve been thinking about investing in a more luxurious bag. I have quite a few Michael kors’s but want something a little bit more.

I particularly want a small bag that would go with everything, I can use it in a sporty outfit or more dressed up. Naturally gravitated towards Gucci Marmont mini camera bag!

Then I thought more about how much will I like it in the future, then started gravitating towards speedy B 25 DE. Plus I’ve wanted this bag since I was about 15.

Out of the 2, which should I pick?! Alternatively, what bag would you suggest. Preferably a timeless piece!

Both are great choices for a first bag ad very different. I would always prefer leather over canvas and Gucci over LV but there is a lot to be said for buying something that you've wanted for so long and still want so the LV sounds like a good place to start for you..

I would go for the one you would wear the most now. The speedy B is more a casual bag, and it will always be there. However, if you want your first luxury bag to be sentimental, then you should go for your childhood HG.

My first luxury bag was the Louis Vuitton Speedy bandolier in 35 in the monogram print. I’ve always wanted a speedy and I don’t regret it as my first time luxury purchase. I use it when I travel, when I go to town, running errands, basically everything. I think you should go for the speedy 25 in DE, it’s such a classy bag + in the DE you can use it for day and night! I’m thinking about getting the speedy 25 in DE to use as an evening bag [emoji4]
LV is a classic and their speedys will always be in style. Each time I see someone carrying one, I always fist bump myself that I got the opportunity to buy a Speedy for myself

Thanks for the advice guys! I now for sure know I want the speedy but not sure if now is the right time. Since I’m worried about the size and weight of it when worn crossbody.

I’ve realised for now, I want a small crossbody that’s comfortable to wear and goes with anything. Something I won’t get bored of in a year or 2. If you have bags in mind please let me know!!

This Gucci Marmont bag is super light, they even have a smaller version of it but I’m afraid you won’t be able to fit much inside it.

Also there is the Marc jacobs camera bag, I have had it for 3 years now and it’s such a beautiful bag plus you can buy new straps with it which really dress it up.
I bought the limited edition one when it first came out, it has a strap with golden stars and the bag is dark green on the front and then it’s like a purple color on the back but they don’t have that one anymore so I think this one is super pretty
