I was cruising I❤️D, minding my own business when I see this Alto bag on clearance in the color fir. As I was looking at all the pics and specs (poof) it was gone in seconds.
BUMMER but I was not swayed. I keep looking and about a week later this baby shows up 65% off on clearance…. ADD TO 🛒CART ! As I am trying to order error messages are popping up. The little wheel keeps spinning. It’s NOT letting me order… DAGNABIT.
I REFRESH THE PAGE AND ORDER AGAIN…. *cue the angels singing*
Thank you for you order with the order number status processing…. This bag sold out in minutes before my very eyes (poof) it was gone. 65%off!!!
It STILL says processing as I have the beautiful bag in front of me. UPS delivered yesterday while I was at work, 24 days left to work and counting LOL.

Okay so this is the most beautiful bag in my collection. The strap is a work of art. I’m gonna enjoy carrying this for special occasions. It’s so sleek and lightweight. Tiny as to what it can hold, yet big enough for the bare essentials

Dooney and Bourke Alto Arietta in the color burgundy. I LOVE THE COLOR!

Congratulations and welcome to the Alto lovers world. Your new handbag is beautiful
and the strap is amazing. (and since it's removeable.... you can wear it on other handbags
or even put a gold chain strap on the Alto, if you like, for variety). I considered buying
the handbag for the strap alone.

Alto is a beautifully made and generally understated elegant Dooney handbag.
To me it represents the kind of handbag you keep for year and years, as
part of a small collection of fine handbags.

I have never treated an Alto handbag, and my recollection is that Dooney does
not recommend it. Maybe other Alto owners have more experience.
Meanwhile, buff with a soft clean white cloth and keep those
cookies and chips and messy fingers away from it. (I'm not dissing you....
I'm speaking from experience of ruining new handbags
when carrying them at a buffet dinner.) 😮 The Alto leather is likely to absorb
oils and the result will be heartbreaking.

Thanks LJ. The strap is AH-MAZE-ZING. Definitely worth adding to my collection. All the colors offered in this silhouette are beautiful. This is my special occasion bag, elegant night out bag, command attention everywhere bag. Thanks for the chain strap tip. That would look so elegant on this bag. No cookies or sticky treats near this beauty. I didn’t check to see if my phone would fit in the back pocket yet. I’m not sur if I’d even want it there stretching the leather. This alto leather is so smooth. I am in complete awe at hoe beautiful this bag is. It’s in its dustbag in my lady lounge…. Duke was sniffing/admiring it as I opened it after work last nite. Even he showed interest in it. Usually he’s just laying down as I open the boxes.

I am very pleased and happy with this purchase. 65% off I would definitely get another one in any color offered.

That was an amazing buy. Usually, half off an Alto is considered a really good price.
I'm guessing Duke is your 'puppy' not your 'hubby'. The sniffing of the handbag has me
a little confused. 😁 In either case,

Duke is my dog. Lol he usually has no interest but he was interested in that alto bag.
LJ this bag had been on my radar last year. The lowest I saw it on sale was $299. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on it then. Week before last I saw the fir color on clearance and I was gonna get it but it was gone so fast I didn’t get the chance. When I saw this a week later in burgundy I jumped on it. The first attempt said order failed. I was NOT deterred. I kept at it until it finally said order confirmation and processing. If I see it again I’ll try to post but man it disappeared fast!
I still wasn’t sure I was gonna receive it because it said processing. Still says processing. Shipped from Connecticut and made it safely to my door

It’s a beautiful work of art! Definitely worth the regular price and to get it at this price I would have gotten 2 of them
