I saw this on the news last night:

According to the report, all of the firefighters are OK, and the jewelry is unharmed. When we saw the news last night, my husband said, "gee, I guess that ruins your plans for tomorrow". How did he know? I was planning to go on down & do a little bit of research/shopping to work on my charm bracelet, oh well...

Oh, that's a huge bummer. I'm glad they were able to put the fire out quickly, it could have been devastating to many buildings around it if it wasn't caught early enough. That's the heart of Union Square and all shopping!
