Has the label's condition damaged the actual scarf?

I have a bout 15 Gucci scarves, new, older and vintage, and I noticed that unlike Hermes, Gucci labels are always very loose and look like they are supposed to be snipped off. I don't always do it, but I wouldn't be worried if it was just the label that was coming away.
