Finally happened to me- I lost my medium clash bracelet

I saw it a day or two ago.. then I noticed today that my larger clash bracelet is missing. $11k down the drain. I didn’t even have it for a whole year and didn’t update my insurance to include that. Beware that the medium model is looser- at least mine was. I had taken it to Cartier and they said if it keeps staying loose, they can try to tighten it. Just wanted to share that I’m totally devastated and don’t be dumb like me.

When you say loose, you have meant the clasp ya? The “flap” doesn’t secure itself down? Didn’t know the medium can be more prone to this.

Any any chance it could have landed at home at obscure corner?

I had just seen a video the other day made by influencer Tamara K who called it one of the worse purchases she made in 2022 and how she regretted the purchase because of the loose clasp on hers. Kind of got me worried about mine and now your bracelet lost due to the same defect. Honestly, hope you find it.

I saw her video as well! When i purchased my clash remotely through my SA, she had to order me another piece in because she said she wasn’t comfortable with the closure of the one they had in their store… seems to be an issue on a few.

So sorry to hear, I can't imagine how sad you are. You mentioned that you didn't include it in your insurance. I just wanted to say that it might make sense to check with your homeowners/ renters/ car insurance too, sometimes they cover jewelry up to a certain amount. I recently lost an earring, of much lesser value ~3k, and our home insurance covered it, and that's how I learnt that it covers up to $7k for jewelry.. Even if they won't cover the whole $11k, maybe at least partially...

Every time you buy a new piece of jewellery or watch,you must Immediately add it to your insurance policy, I’m so sorry it happened, I’m sure you’ll never make that mistake again..hugs..

Oh no! I’m so sorry.

Do a good look around for it. There have been some absolutely amazing stories of finding parts of love bracelets around these parts over the years.

So sorry to hear this, absolutely sickening. How did you pay for this purchase? If paid by Credit card, could this be covered under Section 75?
