I've been without my engagement ring for quite some time; had to have a prong replaced, then went out of the country, then the fellow that makes my jewelry (DH prefers custom work) was in hospital for a couple of months... Gah!!

But I thought since I got her back, sparkling and looking brand new again, I'd share my joy with you all. I never get tired of this ring; DH knocked it out of the park when he proposed  :girlsigh:

White diamonds are my birthstone so most of my jewelry is white diamonds, but after getting this jewel, I swore it's blue diamonds only from here on out! 18k white gold, 1 carat fancy blue w/white flanking three stone ring. Not the most traditional engagement ring but I love it! Does anyone else here have a three-stone engagement ring or am I odd and totally non-traditional?

My wedding band is a simple gold one that belonged to my great-great-grandmother and has been passed down; I don't wear them together. Usually my engagement ring goes on my right hand and my wedding band on the left.

Anyhow-- here are the photos. With and without flash. iPhone doesn't do it justice but I am SO glad to have this ring back on my hand!! :yahoo: thank you all for letting me share; somehow I never got around to posting it back when he proposed

Wow, such a lovely shade of blue. I don't think 3-stone ring is non-traditional but a classic design, just like the solitaire. It never goes out of style. Congrats on your "new" ring, it does look brand new again rite😛

Your ring is stunning.

I have a classic three stone trilogy engagement ring also. The stones are all 0.33 ct. Total 0.99ct, set in Platinum. Small stones - VS1 G colour, and sparkle like crazy.

I wear mine together with a plain platinum band on my wedding finger. I wear my eternity ring on my right hand.

I have not seen many three stone rings until recently, my friend recently got engaged and chose a trilogy design. I have noticed in the Jewellery shops that trilogy designs are also making a come back.

Your ring is really beautiful and eye-catching. The blue is a lovely shade, and the diamonds just pop next to it. Glad you are reunited with your ring!

Lovely! The blue is very pretty.

I also have a three stone ring. I wanted something I could always wear while my DH was concerned about the bling factor. Halos or lots of little diamonds are not our thing.

I love your ring, so beautiful. I also have a 3 stone ring. A couple years ago I wanted to upgrade/change my engagement ring but there was no way I could get rid of my original stone. So much history! I met my husband when we were in teens! Basically he worked all summer to buy my ring (yes, I would kill one of my son's if they had done that !). So I flanked my original diamond with two stones to represent my two sons. I did white, but do like blue. It was a hard choice, I'll post pics when I can. Please ignore wrinkly old hands, they always look horrible in pics!

What a gorgeous ring! Love the blue!

I love three-stone rings!

Gimmethebag, your three-stone is awesome, too! :cloud9:

I have a three-stone right-hand ring that I sometimes wear as an engagement ring. Mine is set in white gold, but I am thinking about having it reset in yellow gold.

Thank you ladies!! I'm so glad to have it back

For those curious about the vivid color-- it is heat treated rather than irradiated. It started out as a naturally light blue diamond (like Blake Lively's engagement ring) but they superheat them to permanently darken the color as opposed to irradiating a white diamond to change the color to blue or pink or whatever :) I love the shade and have several pieces with blue diamonds like this one but this is my only three stone rings.

I love seeing the pictures here of others' three-stone rings! :) thank you for sharing!

It really is such a pretty color and it definitely looks different than a sapphire.
