First of all thanks to everyone helping me and taking time to advise. I explored, researched, studied and learned for hours on end the last couple of weeks. I loved Tiffanys but ruled out for me. As you know, I have a lovely stone and decided not to start over. I became obsessed with HOF and went back and forth between 2 Halo designs. One was in white gold called the repertoire. The other was in platinum called signifaicance. risingsun has a recent thread with incredible pictures of her significance. Her diamond AND setting are HOF. Well, ........... I went with the significance too!!!! My jeweler had one with a HOF diamond in it 4 pts smaller than my non-HOF diamond but the same color and clarity. He couldn't break his ring in the store so a new one was ordered (I gave a big deposit!) from the HOF company and he should have in a week or so. I will have mine reset during week of June 14 - probably end of that week or early the following week. So excited. Now what will I write about - LOL!

Maybe how poor I am! I'll try to have someone help me post pics. I am sooo happy. Everyone seems to love risingsuns's - mine is a tad smaller. I still think it will be quite beautiful. I tried one on in the store that was a tad smaller than mine and I totally loved it.

ame - no $ left for wedding band! But as most of you know, I've been married for 18 years! So this is what I already have in my jewelry collection in terms of wedding bands: I have an eternity band with nice size diamonds that go completely around. I have 2 very thin Hidalgo bands with pave diamonds that are go 1/2 around ring. I also have a tri-color Cartier trinity. All of those would be worn not on same finger as my e-ring but to be worn on other hand. I think the 2 stackable Hidalgos would look very nice for everyday. And when I want more bling, I'd wear the diamond eternity ring. I promise to one of these days post pictures of all!
Thanks trustlove! I really thought I'd be getting a Tiffany like you but after going to the store at least four times, I kept being pulled towards round diamonds. And that is what I have already. So this was a good compromise. Like I said, it is platinum and has the halo but also has this "coining" around the micropave which makes it antiquey looking. I really love it. Makes my center stone appear so much larger. I also love that the micropave is also on both sides of the ring part too. Have you seen risingsun's pictures of it? The galley is cool from a profile shot. I'm really happy with this. Sometimes you just know when it is right. Good luck with your selection. Your legacy will surely be magnificent!
