Hi, can anyone tell me how to read a shoe size of a Ferragamo shoe. It says DY 10151 36 9 2A on one pair and the other says D.T. 588-AGIWN-42B any help would be appreiciated. I am trying to convert these to U.S. sizes.
thanks

Those are 9 extra-narrow.
The size is the last two numbers in the set - 9 is the size, and AA is the width.

A Euro 42 is mostly a size 9-10 ish (depending on brand, style ect)

Here are a couple of shoe sizing charts. As you can see, there is not perfect agreement. I typically wear an 8.5 or 9 US and it is usually a 39 italian, or 40 french:

Different shoes obviously fit differently..but if you wear a 7c in Ferragamo, then an 8b is almost always going to be too long. I'd pass.

They would be too big, most likely. I am an 8.5 B and I bought a vintage pair of Lillaz in 8.5 C. They're a little wide but I wear them with thick stockings. Going up a WHOLE size might be too much.
