Hi all!
I am considering purchasing this bag in the beautiful suede but I’m wondering if anyone has it and can advise how it’s held up? I worry that it’ll be too hard to maintain! 😓

I just got the blue suede Hug a few weeks ago, and I love it. It’s still too soon to tell you how it will hold up, but I got stuck in the rain with it once already and it was fine. And I just traveled with it on a plane and brought the Ferragamo dust bag with me to protect it before placing it in the overhead bin. So in that sense, I’m being a little more cautious with it. It seems sturdy generally and the suede is gorgeous!!

This is encouraging!! Can you share an update as it’s been several months since this post? I’m also considering this bag and am drawn to the suede more than the regular leather but have the same concerns. Also, is yours the regular hug or the soft hug?
I prefer the silhouette of the original hug but wonder how comfortable the top handle is. I usually prefer shoulder bags like the soft hug so I am torn!
It’s held up really well (though obviously I haven’t taken it out in torrential downpours
) and I use it a lot! My suede hug is the original hug (and I also have a soft hug in black leather, which I love too). I don’t use the shoulder strap the original comes with because I prefer the look with the top handle. It’s been comfortable, but I wouldn’t carry it very heavily packed for hours on end. If it were less packed, it would be fine for a long carry.
Just watched the video by Tanner Leatherstein regarding the Hug bag and wow, it passed with flying colors as the best! ❤️👍🏻

The suede but only because it’s so textured and special! You won’t go wrong!

I watched the video as well, but I don't know what to think about it. Sounds like an ad.
Even though I do personnally think the hug bag is of good quality, but I did not need the video to feel that way.
I don't know if anyone feels the same.
I felt that way too after watching it. I normally dislike it when people add cons for an item just because they "have to" to sound objective, but the way he sold he bag made it seem like the only con was the price. I mean, Ferragamo did send him the bag for free after all, so it is an ad nonetheless.
