FENDI spy in or out?

I think we are all guilty to an extent of worrying whether a bag is in or not ... and we all follow the press/media a bit to much ... the advice is great - follow what YOU like and wear it ... but I truly wonder how many of us (myself included) actually DO wear 'out' bags ... or do we just say we do?????

Wasn't it styled after traditional 'armadillo bags' which were popular in the 1970s (originating somewhere in South America)? So insofar as shape, it was a classic before it was even Fendi.
