Hi everyone,

I recently purchased dior Bobby large and I'm in love with that bag. While I was in the store I saw small abc lady dior that stole my heart.
However, my heart also goes to fendi peekaboo or Ysl bea which is totally different style from these two.
I'm not buying bags to resel them, I buy them because I love to wear them and I carefully choose the bags.
My question is which one would you choose for based on day to day preference and also to look craftsmanship, material and so on
To mention that Bea bag is deer skin

I have both an ABC lady Dior and a mini selleria peekaboo and the peekaboo is the more versatile bag and less fussy to use. I wear the peekaboo top handle and crossbody, and I like the option to leave the sides open or fasten them shut - it's a really great travel bag IMO. But, the lady Dior is beautiful and the charms are like little jewelry. It's just kind of a fussy bag with the flap.

Both great choices, just depends what you're looking for and how much fussiness you're willing to deal with

There is definitely room in one’s collection for both. I agree the peekaboo is easier to access.

The Bea is a totally different bag with a different vibe. I would get that unstructured shopping tote last, even though it will be very useful as an everyday relaxed bag.

I would probably only get a Peekaboo OR a LD. They are major expenditure and will serve the same purpose.

I have both the LD (medium) and the Fendi Peekaboo (medium) and I love both, but would use them for different situations. The LD I feel is a bit more dressy and elegant whereas the Peekaboo can look a little more casual in the smaller sizes, so it depends on how you tend to dress. The medium Peekaboo is very heavy but is easier to use/access than the LD, which is a bit fussy to get into. I'm not sure how heavy the mini Peekaboo is! The Fendi is also a little more resilient to damage, as the lambskin on my LD is more delicate than my Fendi.

I have 2 peekaboos- a mini in ostrich and a xs mini in stingray. I also have a medium lady Dior in the cannage raffia. All 3 fill different voids and I don’t find them repetitive at all. The lady does charms and handles can be annoying and loud imo. Whereas the peekaboo is very user friendly. If I had to choose I would choose a peekaboo over a lady Dior personally.

Edited to add I would also pick the peekaboo over the Ysl hands down. The peekaboo is timeless

I've decided to let go of the YSL Bea bag for now. The leather on that bag is incredibly soft and beautiful; however, it's enormous. It takes up half of my body, and I'm petite. To put it in perspective, I could fit my toddler inside and carry her—it's that big. I plan to buy that bag as a travel bag; it will be a better choice than the LV On The Go.

The Lady Dior is iconic, but having a toddler around makes it challenging to take care of that bag.

At the moment, I've decided to go with the Peekaboo Small in either Dove Grey calfskin or the Coffee-Coloured Selleria bag with hand-sewn stitches. This bag will be my go-to choice for pairing with sneakers, heels, ballerinas, and more.

Thank you once again for your help!

The Lady Dior comes in grained calfskin. I don't think the MyABC version does, but the same size of the Lady Dior comes in hardy grained calfskin.

I suggest the grained calfskin small Lady Dior over the Peekaboo because the Lady Dior is much more iconic and timeless. I love the Peekaboo but even the "iconic" men's version I got years ago was discontinued as the bag has had several modifications and iterations. I was disappointed that my original men's Peekaboo was discontinued, much like some women's versions. In fact, the bag looks quite different from the first versions that were released:

I like the lady Dior but every time I try one in store, I never end up buying it. It's beautiful but somehow a bit too formal for me.
I do have a peekaboo iseeu which is the more structured version, in a beautiful turquoise color that feels more casual to me.
I bought a wide adjustable canvas like strap from Etsy to make it easier to wear on longer outings and it's very easy.
