Hi everyone, I am a vintage collector and this forum has helped me SO much in discovering unique and rare pieces. It helped me a lot in understanding how to spot fakes and I can’t thank enough all the experts here!

I thought to collect all in one place all the information regarding the Fendi holograms, hope you can help me too!

I have seen the following formats on authentic bags:

1. First row: 1 letter / second row: 6 numbers
2. One row only: 2 letters / 5 numbers
3. One row only: 2 letters/ 7 numbers
4. One row only: 6 numbers only

Holograms were first introduced in 2004 and then replaced by RFID in 2010.
All holograms are unique. No real fendi bags shares the same holograms.

Do you know any other valid hologram formats and/or do you know if any of the formats were used on specific model/years only?

Also in the “authenticate this Fendi” thread, I saw a user referring to a “fake Fendi holograms serial numbers list”. Do you know where I can find it for my future reference?

Let’s share our knowledge!

I'll come back and add mine! I'm also a vintage collector, and from Fendi just have Peekaboo bags, so they have a mix of hologram and RFID (A couple of mine have both, from the transition period I was told by authenticators).

It'd be great to get a resource together to help us sans authentication. One of my bags was recently authenticated despite having no FF logo on the back of the zipper head, but I was informed by the authenticator that the earliest Peekaboos did not necessarily have that logo there, and so that is not a needed detail on some of the older Fendi bags. Would have saved me a lot of shock if there were others comparing their authentic finds!

Thank you for this info! I was wondering why I had 1 letter on a row alone with the 6 numbers underneath it. I was concerned when I first saw that format. Lol
