Hi

i am looking for a bag I can use everyday my shortlist is the Loewe puzzle small tan, fendi first medium brown and iconic mini peekaboo in chocolate brown. I don’t have much experience with any of these brands and was wondering how the bags hold up after regular use. Ps I am a classic dressser

These are all carried differently. Do you want a short shoulder bag/clutch? Crossbody? Top handle/shoulder? Do you prefer a zip, snap, or open/twist closure?

They are all lovely bags and I imagine they would all hold up well with regular use, though the puzzle in grained leather is probably the most durable.

i need it as an everyday bag and want it to last. I generally wear my bags as shoulder bags or top handle (my other everyday bags are an old style BV veneta or celine phantom)

Im fairly flexible on closure too

Loewe small puzzle. It is my most used and most carefree bag! I got caught in a downpour today and the wet spots just dried right up. A few days ago a blue sharpie which had not dried yet had wiped off on my bag and I was able to remove it from my smooth leather puzzle! I was grabbing my kids’ stuff to get them in the car for school and was horrified when I saw the blue.

The only thing this bag does not do is go dressy. I have a casual lifestyle so that doesn’t bother me and I would not hesitate to carry it out an the evening. For more formal evenings, I have other bags. I love the puzzle because if you have it in a neutral color, it is such an easy bag to use and wear. I wear it comfortably as crossbody, shoulder and arm carry bag.

I love the puzzle bag but find any bigger than the small size is too boxy for crossbody. The medium with slouch is gorgeous hand held. Loewe has excellent leather as does Fendi. I also wouldn’t use a puzzle bag for anything dressy.

I have two mini peekaboos, had 3 but sold one as the colour wasn’t for me, and they are so spacious. The nappa one looks smarter but I use for both smart and casual. The selleria I use casually and smart casual. It’s slightly heavy for such a tiny bag when loaded up but is all leather throughout.

Would you consider the nappa mini peekaboo a good bag for everyday? How does the leather hold up,after a couple of years

Here’s a couple of pics of mine, it’s 5 years old and heavily used for every day. There’s one or two tiny marks but not noticeable and the corners are in great shape. I thought I’d get it a spa at about 3 years old but it doesn’t need it

I have the Loewe puzzle and love using it as my everyday bag! I second everything earthygirl said. The leather is beautiful and super durable. I spilled paint on part of my bag and had to do some scrubbing to get it off and the leather still looks beautiful. I would also add that the bag will get slouchier over time, so it's hard to maintain the boxy structured look the bag has initially if you care about that
