This Fendi bag was very popular about 3-4 years ago. I don’t see that many people wearing it now, but it’s cute. Does it still look fashionable and current to you and still in style, or somewhat dated and not in style anymore? If you didn’t already have this bag from before, would you still buy it now or not anymore? Will it stand the test of time and still be in style 5-10 years from now, or will it be too dated and lose its value? Is this particular model worth the investment or not anymore? What are your thoughts? Thank you.

It’s not a classic style of the fashion house like the baguette or the peekaboo so I would say it’s dated. Of course, if it was never extremely trendy in the first place, then one could argue it’s not dated just that it’s an unpopular style. In any case, if you love the bag and it’s functional for you, it doesn’t matter. If you ever hope to recoup your money, it probably won’t happen...even if you buy it preloved at a discounted price. While the quality may be there, the demand is not.

This has a fairly standard design (structured pocketbook style shoulder bag), was not a recognizable “it” bag, and the Fendi design treatment is still in use. So, I’d say it’s not out of style and is more of a classic style.

That being said, it was never a very popular bag. And, Fendi bags lose value at a good clip. I’d doubt it would hold any meaningful value over the long term.

Based on the above, I’d say buy it if you love it. People will only see a beautiful bag - not a dated one. But, don’t buy it expecting a meaningful financial return as you won’t get one.
