I’m wondering the same but it’s so whimsical. Denim adds a casual flair with a luxe twist:loveeyes:
So I pulled the trigger and purchased it. It was however a bit disappointing. The first one had some enamel missing from one of the flowers, not from falling off per se it just looks like when the flower was made one of the petals didn’t get painted with it. When I finally got a new one transferred from store the flowers (even tho only on the front and top of flap) was snagging to everything. I couldn’t even put it in the dust bag without it getting caught. I had to wrap the bag in the thin wrap foam bag it came with in order to store it. I gave up and returned it. I don’t think I wear enough super smooth fabrics for this or be useful in my life. 😂

Thank you so much for sharing your experience:smile:it’s incredibly helpful! That snagging issue sounds frustrating, especially for something that should feel more carefree and wearable. I absolutely love the look of it, but I think you’re right—it might be too delicate for my day-to-day wardrobe and storage habits.
Now I’m eyeing the sequins baguette instead…it seems like it might offer a similar wow factor with a little less fuss. Have you seen or tried that one?
I think I’m officially done with bags that live in wraps and stay locked in the closet..luxury shouldn’t require bubble wrap isn’t :graucho: Life is already too short and hectic… I don’t want to be fussing over bags anymore.I want to enjoy them, not worry about snags or fragile details every time I reach for one:no:
You just saved me return fatigue..so grateful!

Haha I think we have similar taste. I want the wow factor too without the fuss. Coincidentally, I do also own the purple sequin SITC reissue of the baguette. I do have to say it sparkles. I’ve gotten compliments from strangers on the street when wearing it out. That said however, the sequins are of different sizes and the longer ones may bend if u are too rough with the bag. Good news is that I don’t have snagging issue with this one but I wouldn’t wear it with large knits.Sometimes I’ve noticed a few sequin on the floor when using the bag but it doesn’t appear to have fall off in rows or anything. For me I’m not really bothered, I just picked them up and keep them in case I need to repair (in the same pouch where they give u extras). So far it’s only been 3 small squares. I think the repair is easy as they r just just sewn to the too layer of the bag. I could repair it myself. I caution opening the flap with care because those r the sequines that do bend if u just try to pull. I would rate it more fussy than delicate. For the amount of wow it gives, the fuss is minimal compared to some others but everyone is different in what they find troublesome. If u want more deets let me know. :D I have so much experience with bags of all kinds and brands. 🤣

Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply!it was super helpful.I feel like we definitely have the same taste. I want the wow factor too but without the drama!
I’ve been eyeing this silver sequins baguette, and I noticed the sequin placement looks a bit different compared to the usual styles I’ve seen at Fendi. The sequins on this one seem stitched down more tightly, in a structured grid rather than loosely hanging like the ones I often see (maybe like the ones on the famous purple version?).
I’m really drawn to the sparkle, but like you, I don’t want to be too precious with it! Would love to hear your thoughts on that kind of sequin layout if you’ve seen or handled one..do you think it might be lower maintenance compared to the looser style? Would love to hear your thoughts
Thanks again for sharing your experience..you’ve already helped me avoid one return!

I have this one in the pink and it’s definitely lower maintenance. I also tried the flower one and it was snagging right out of the bag similar to the crystal one from a few years ago. The ombré embossed is a really nice bag too.

That is the purple one I have I think the sequined r not noticeable if anything happened. I haven’t seen the silver one in person but I would guess if one of those tears off u would def know 😅. If I see it in person I’ll let u know what I feel about the maintenance.

Thanks so much for the insight! The pink sequin must be absolutely beautiful..and I’m so relieved to hear it’s low maintenance. That flower version really seems like a snag magnet, especially if it’s catching straight out of the dust bag! I haven’t seen the ombré embossed one in person yet, but I’ll definitely look it up…sounds like a nice option too. Still, there’s something about the sparkle of the silver that feels extra special… it might be the one!

Haha I had a feeling it might be the purple one! That totally explains it,those looser sequins are like “no big deal,” but with the silver ones, I feel like if one popped off, I’d go “wait a sec… was that a sequin or my soul leaving my body?”:panic: Might even trigger a mini heart attack on the spot!:giggle:
Please do let me know if you ever see it in person. I trust your bag instincts!😁 Still hoping for that rare combo of wow-factor without the emotional damage:biggrin:.
I’m currently trying to balance wow-factor with sanity these days😁.

Does anyone know if the Monster charms are coming back? I only have a pink Candy Fur one and would love to add more to my collection. I've been checking Fendi online for the past few weeks but nothing's there. Thanks for your help!

They released a monster collection a few months ago with a new monster charm in it! Currently not available on the website, but it was available a couple of weeks ago. I have a big collection of them and tend to find them pre-loved from Japan on eBay or on Vestiaire Collective.

This is the one that was available recently on the Fendi website. You could contact them to see if they can find one for you!
