Hi! šŸ‘‹ Newbie to Fendi and Purse blog. Question about the Selleria bags to all the Fendi experts  - does it always have a suede interior? I am considering a pre-loved Selleria baguette bag but it has a different lining, textured, perhaps linen-like looking at the listing online. Thanks in advance!
Have you bought your selleria yet? If you're still considering it, the newer ones have leather on leather so leather lining.

Does anyone here like fendi RTW? I saw a tartan dress and jacket in Singapore that I loved and bought. I learned that it is from Kim Jones’s last collection for Fendi. I think it’s better constructed and more reasonably priced than other designer rtw like Dior  Here is the dress and the jacket worn with a taupe Hermes jacket and khaki H pants (the latter from the men’s collection)

I have really been eyeing their rtw! I've enjoyed looking at stuff on preloved sites too. How is the quality? With some brands I know clothing can be all over the place. Are they mainly using natural materials, do those pieces feel sturdy like we would hope, etc.?

I have but I didn't out a laptop in it, so I can't answer your question. I can tell you that I didn't like the Peekaboo soft. It's not comfortable to carry on the shoulder, for me, because the lock dug into my ribs. Also the rigid bar in the peekaboo makes it a less malleable fit when on the shoulder, so it annoyed me. This goes for both the medium and the large. I know they will be bringing out a small size with a longer shoulder strap for the summer, so I'm hoping I'll like that one more.

If you're looking for a similar looking bag that's a lot more comfortable, in my opinion, try the Balenciaga Rodeo in large or medium.
Stopped in the store yesterday and saw the large soft peekaboo in an amazing brown color. Such a cute bag!!
$6100 is pricey so may be I'll wait for a good used one to go on market.

I like Fendi RTW. I love this bomber on you. I find their pieces to be really well made especially their coats.

Thanks @missie1  I agree re the coats.

@silverfluff , the garments are well made. Better constructed than Dior. Probably not as well as Chanel (Chanel’s fabrics are also super luxurious). The construction is more complex than Hermes. I have a lot of these other designers).

I did want to purchase a fendi fabric coat with grograin trim. But, the sleeves could not be shortened at the shoulder or at the sleeve edge without ruining the construction or detail. IMO, that’s a mark against all of these designers except Chanel.

But, imo, there is a more sartorial sense of construction in tailored pieces by Italian designers like Fendi (or say Brunello pants) as opposed to French. The fendi fabric is also a flatter, harder finish (like suit material), so it’s more durable. DH, who is more knowledgeable about rtw and MtM than I am, has told me that a synthetic natural blend can wear and fit better— just depends. So 100% natural isn’t on my list of criteria in general
