Fendi Boutique or Jomashop?

Okay, so I've decided to get the zucca baby spy. I'm 5'2", 110 lbs, so I think the baby spy is perfect for me. However, I'm not sure if I should get it from the boutique or jomashop. It would be about $500 more from the boutique but I would have the peace of mind of knowing that it's real and have the warranty (which is not valid through Jomashop since they are not an authorized retailer).

What would you do?

My opinion is that if it's the baby spy, get it from Jomashop because baby spy is a simple bag, which doesn't have the end cap problem or the secret compartment problems like mentioned on other postings. Also, for $500
saved, you can even save it or get another bag. I honestly don't think you'll face the problem with the baby spy so it wouldn't matter if it had the 1 yr warrenty from the fendi boutique, but that's just my opinion. As for authenticity, I've heard good things and you can always take if after u get authenticated from the board with pix you take. HTH! Good luck Dont' forget to show us pix after you get it.

Hi Josephone SD. I'm contemplating the same thing as you! (I'm just not sure whether to get the Spy or baby Spy) I think in the end, I will go with JomaShop only because I've heard good things about them PLUS they have a 30 day money back guarantee. Which will give me plenty of time to make sure if it's authentic or not. Good luck to you!

Thank you, all good points, but I think I'm going to get it from the boutique since I've had bad experiences in the past with online bags. I keep thinking, there is a reason why they're not an "authorized retailier". It's also such a huge let-down when you find out you paid hundredes of dollars for a fake. Even if you get it authenticated on tPF, you always sort of wonder. That's just me though, I like knowing without a doubt.

I'll post pics when I get it home. There were only 2 bags left when I went to the boutique this weekend, so I better get back there soon! The one I saw was really bubbly too on the leather part.

I would not hesitate about buying from Jomashop because their stuff is authentic saying that if you have seen a lovely bubbly one in the boutique would go for that. Bubbles are the best

For $500 a difference then I would go to Jomashop as they are the real deal and thats a bit of a steal to be honest

I got a bubbly spy from Jomashop. It is scary though, not picking out your own bag. :s In the end, it was worth it for me, (price wise).

I would buy it from the boutique. If something happens and it is bought from jomashop, they won't even look at it. And the handles on the spys tend to have problems as well (as noted in a previous thread!). Amanda from 5th ave is a very nice SA and she would treat you good.
