Arts & Crafts Felt Applique Ornaments and Stockings!

So, is anyone else working on felt appliqué ornaments or stockings for the holidays? I am making a golfing Santa stocking (http://www.plaidonline.com/productDetail.asp?itemID=86145) for my dad as well as some beach-themed ornaments (http://www.plaidonline.com/productDetail.asp?itemID=86111). No pics right now, but I hope to post some soon!

I also enjoy embroidery and have made a few cute bookmarks lately and plan to make some pillows after the holiday decorations are done.

oh wow... that stocking is quite the project!!!
2 years ago I bought a bunch of those cheapy ($1) felt stockings on clearance for like 25 cents each for everyone at my part time job for last year's christmas. we hang up stockings every year and people always have to share and they weren't very big (envelopes could hardly fit in them). so i was going to decorate all these... bought a bunch of christmas shapes and ribbon.... I think i did about 30 of them.. but nothing as complex as that!

Very cute projects! I am almost done with the stocking. All I have left to do are the golf clubs. It has been quite the project. Lots of details. I am sure my dad will love it. I'll post a pic when it is done. Now I have to finish the ornaments and make a stocking for myself!

Thanks, everyone! Now I am working on some ornaments and a stocking for my mom. I think I see some late nights ahead to finish her stocking!
