fellow watch lovers: thoughts on Pebble SmartWatch

Many of you are familiar with my watch obsession! And some of you know about my collection! Well, recently a watch caught my eye and I'm extremely intriqued. It is called a Pebble Steel which is the improved "jewelry-looking" design of a smart watch. I'm thinking of ordering but was wondering if anyone here is familiar with this. Each watch priced at $249 comes with 2 bands - a brushed stainless steel and a black leather OR a black matte metal and a black leather. Trying to figure out which looks more feminine. Please help!

One of my coworkers bought the original when it first came out - and he loves it. I personally think it's an awesome watch. Wanted to get one for my hubby, but he loves his Tag and that's all he will wear

Ok. You intrigued me so I went to look. Can you explain what the watch does, exactly? For example, can you load apps and jazz to it? It looks cool!
