If you thought the chain strap bothered you when you had the Felicie, I wouldn't say that you're overreacting, just reacting to how it wore on you which is natural. I wouldn't let other people's opinion sway you to repurchase a bag if you feel strongly that the original strap should stay on the bag. What's nice is that the strap is removable and can be swapped out if you'd really like to repurchase.I did buy a Felicie when they first were introduced and thought the chain strap bothered me, so I returned it. But it seems most people love their Felicie's. So, I thought maybe I was "overracting" to the strap. I thought I would get more opinions on this matter!!!!
It is very hard to find handbags or pochettes with silver hardware. I do like the Epi black Felicie. I do have a crossbody strap from my black Epi Alma BB. But, if the chain is REALLY a problem I might not buy it. I did try on a Chanel WOC with silver harware but the strap was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long on me.
I like the look but not the feeling of the chain strap on my body. I love but have resisted getting the red empreinte felicie for that reason (and capacity).I did buy a Felicie when they first were introduced and thought the chain strap bothered me, so I returned it.
