Feet wear? what's normal what isn't

I was cleaning off my Peyton satchel this AM(winter blah) and noticed my feet are getting a bit worn, now i expect some scratching that is normal.. but i mean discoloring?

That bothered me, it is a gold toned hardware .. and yes it is a MFF bag, should I mention it to my factory? or just skip it...

In future i plan to avoid the gold tones...I think it's more prone to issues unless it's genuine, pretty sure this hardware is IM.

I can do a pic, my phone is just charging at the moment. Oh, and no it's not old.. bought last month!

a month is a very short time for discoloration
but the feet are something that you probably would never look at if you weren't examining the bag
If it bothers you, you could try taking it back to the outlet store. I'm new to Coach so I don't know how they are with returns

I'd probably live with it unless you want to resell some day. And (someone correct me if I'm wrong) you probably wouldn't get that good a price on resale for a MFF bag.

no not worried about resale, i usually keep my bags or my daughters "magically" adopt them. It doesn't bother me per-say because it's on the bottom i was just surprised by it, scratches i expect.. need to grab a pic to show what i mean...

I could call my outlet and inquire...

ETA; pretty much impossible to get a pic due to the reflective nature.. not really surprised.
