Hi everyone! Today is my birthday and I am suddenly wanting to gift myself. :happydance:

Wanting a DA Speedy to replace my DA Sperone Backpack that I plan to sell. Bought it new just before the virus stay-home orders and seems life is not aligning to the Sperone and just sits there unused. I am becoming more "grab-and-go", not needing a backpack to hold stuff for being out and feeling like a top handle bag would be nice to have (I do not have one).

What is the real capacity difference between the two? I am looking to carry Pocket Organizer, 6 Key Holder, Agenda PM, and small non-LV makeup bag (holds a gloss and compact only). I am open to adding a Smorga.

Thoughts?

I can’t speak to the 25 but I have a 30 and it will hold what you listed with room to spare, even with an organizer. I have an organizer and carry a full size wallet, key cles, a pretty good size makeup bag with compact gloss mascara eyeliner, I have an inhaler in there, my phone. And i still have room to spare. I have never tried the 25 on in real life so I wonder what it would look like on me!

I’ve owned both the 25 and 30. If you have a lifestyle that is consistently compact I’d recommend the 25. The opening on the 25 is also much tighter than the 30. The 30 is their most popular speedy size for a reason as the opening is much wider and there’s more space to spare. You can fit a lighter sweater in the 30.

Happy Birthday! :flowers: I would recommend checking out YouTube. There are a TON of videos comparing the bags and what fits. Based on what you want to carry, the 25 will give you more than enough space. I have several speedy 30s (see my avatar) and I have found that because I travel light I have lots of empty space and I have already sold two of my 30s and plan to get a 25. I also have the mini hl and the nano and I just love smaller bags.

Will add that the smorga was a bag changer for me. I have the 25 and also think the 25 would best fit your description. The opening is so small and the inside so dark ( I have the Mono) that I could never easily find anything in it and I barely carry anything. :lol: The smorga is an absolute necessity for me and the 25.
