What is your favourite small leather good? I have a soft spot for SLGs. Not quite the cost investment as a purse but still lets you have a sense of a brand and style.

I’ll start. I have a Gucci blooms card holder that I use much more than a wallet from LV. I have a long wallet that I use to store additional cards. I also have Coach leather check book holders that I like.

I have bought passport cases in the past but found they are more hassle than they are worth. But I wonder how they compare to wallet organizers like LV’s taiga zippy organizer long wallet. I see people carry flat rectangle pouches from Chanel and I wonder what people use them for if not a clutch. I am also thinking about getting a makeup or toiletry bag, but I wonder if it is wise.

Anyway I guess I am wondering what is your favourite SLG?! Thanks in advance for sharing!

I buy matching continental-style leather wallet for each brand/color/bag.

Except chanel--wallets tricky to use with different sized paper currencies, imo.

Mulberry (tree logo), bought matching leather make up cases, too.

Hermes, chose dogon duos to double as clutches.

I will say current deadly ponies wallets disappointed me. Because card slots became smaller & zippers cheaper.

Otherwise, I buy weird & whimsical bag charms--are they considered slg?

Hi remainsilly! Do you like the Mulberry make up cases? Are you happy with the choice of leather as opposed to nylon or canvas?

I just looked up the Hermès dogon duo. How beautiful! I’ve got to see that in person now! What colours do you have?

Do the bag charms you buy hold anything (like coins)?

Hi, sneedonist!

Haven't bought mulberry since early 2016. Not fan of new stuff.
Make up cases I own are nvt leather, with tree:

I like design a lot--lined in easy-clean fabric, with useful inner pockets.
Are pure lux fun.
I do buy cheap fabric/plastic pouches at discount stores. For organization in bags. They work fine, too.;)

My dogon duos are rouge grenat & noir, clemence leather.
Will fit phone/case inside. Good to clutch, when leaving bags behind.

My charms vary. 2 which hold things inside:
1) deadly ponies mr. pom pom purse, (NZ deer leather) ink suede

2) loewe elephant coin purse, orange (I attach to bag exteriors, using small carabiner clip through zipper)

I love your pictures and matching with your purses!

My makeup bag is nylon but a bit large for everyday so I am looking. That mulberry looks great.

I have seen the Loewe elephant coin purse and wanted one. I might just have to be your twinsie on this one. I have seen you on other forums talk much about deadly ponies. That Pom Pom purse leather looks smooshy! Yum!

Rouge grenat and noir are beautiful colours and easy to match with outfits as a clutch. I could see it both casual and formal. I’ll have to stop by a store soon to check out the dogon duo!

Remainsilly: You have helped add to my wish list of slgs! Oh no! [emoji3]

I have a furla business card case that I use as wallet/card holder, very functional and easy to use, holds more that regular flat card holders, takes less space than accordion style card holders. I just received a Hermes calvi card holder as a gift, but honestly I don't think it is more functional that the furla one.

I have a diesel six key holder that I like, it holds my car key and has 3 slip pockets that can hold cash, receipts or even a card. The only problem is that it has a metal logo on the outside so it might still scratch the interior of my bags.

I recently got two Valextra flat pouches but find them hard to use - too small, will bulge up when putting more stuffs in it, strap too short as a wristlet. The leather feels nice though and I got them with deep discount. I guess flat pouches are not for me - fit a lot less than its actual size.

I am in search of a passport holder that has card slots, and a better key holder. Also one tip I have for SLG shopping is don't forget men's sections - lots of understated functional styles.

Chanel card cases
LV pochette acc NM
LV cosmetic pouch PM
LV mini pochette
LV PM agendas
LV 6 ring key holder
LV Christmas animation leather charm
LV VVV Statue of Liberty luggage tag

Had a toiletry pouch 26 - sold it - didn’t like it, takes up too much room
Key Cles - got it years ago, returned it the next day, I found the mini pochette better

I have a thing for SLGs too. I dont like to match with the bag I’m carrying.

I wondered about bulging flat pouches so I guess people only put paper stuff in there? I have a couple of key holders from Kate spade and I agree I dislike the metal brand plate on the outside as it tarnishes and gets scratched. I want one without a metal plate.

I never thought about a business card case to use a wallet. I dislike my Gucci card holder because it’s tight and hard to get things in and out. Great suggestion, sonicxml!

How long have you had your LV 6ring key holder? How is the wear?
