I keep hearing that vintage bags are higher quality. What are some of your favorites for every day? I'm liking the looks ofPopincourt, Jeune Filles, Trocadero, and of course Ellipse.

My favorite vintage bag is my first love: the epi Lockit.
I have two vintage bags - the Noe GM and my Speedy 40. Both are made in '98 and both have full vachetta replacements. They're gorgeous and I use them frequently. I love that they're two completely different looks and styles, so I can swap back and forth without feeling that I'm using the same bag (or similar).
If it counts as vintage, my 1998 or 1999 LV Deauville (the old model). Great travel bag. It has the lovliest thickest canvas!

Had some vintage LV bags (I consider vintage LV as older than 2000), the most amazing ones (I bought a few styles of vintage ones) were the Montsouris backpacks (GM, MM & PM), you would not believe those were older than 2000 bags when you look at them even they have been very used, 99% of those ones had no canvas wear, the canvas part are strong sturdy, the leather part are in very good condition like like vachetta LV bags you had for a few years.
Epi Noe (GM & Petit) vintage ones I had were like new too.
I had bought some other older LV bags but since they were not older than 2000 so I won't put them here.

I sold my Deaville because it was just wayyyyy too heavy whenever I flew. It was a great-sized bag with those fabulous pockets !!Haha, it does get heavy when full! I additionally use a monogram strap, so that I can wear it on the shoulder, though. I dob‘t like the look with the strap on the handles too much, but that way I can switch ways to carry it…You must have super-toned biceps !
I think my favorite would be my Sac Flanerie 45, perfect overnight bag or as work bag, super durable and I like the classic design.
