Forgive me if this thread has been done, or if it doesn’t belong here— I’m new to this sorry!

I just started getting into Coach and noticed that a lot of the hype is around the 1941 line. The bags there are gorgeous and I love looking at them but it’s just too far out of my budget for now, so I’m sticking with outlet styles for now. I recently purchased a Cassidy crossbody and I love it, and now I’m slightly obsessed with checking out other outlet bags.

Tell me, what are your favorite outlet styles? I’d love to check around some well loved designs!

You can get some 1941 them from the outlet. Thats where all MINE came from

I haven't been loving the MFF (made for factory) lately I feel the quality isn't exactly there and haven't bought anything but I feel like the main line keeps getting better quality wise! I try to get Retail bags there but they seem to pull them off the floor for certain sales.

If budget is a concern you can always go vintage! You can get some beautiful vintage all-leather Coaches preloved. Just take care to authenticate. I mainly have bought preloved/vintage bags (15-25+ years old) because the vintage glove-tanned leather is so gorgeous and holds up. As for outlet styles, I got a Sierra Satchel in the Signature Coated Canvas as a gift. I don't carry it too much as I don't carry satchel styles on the daily but I do like the coated canvas enough that I would consider getting another piece in it, perhaps a tote. Another outlet bag I bought that I love is my Ivy-colored pebble leather Lexy. The Lexy is a 3-compartment bag similar to the FP Edie, though I have noticed some great sales on Edie at the regular Coach site recently.

I really enjoy a lot of the Outlet styles and totally understand that it's nice to have an affordable option for a brand that we're interested in.

My absolute favorite bag from Coach Factory was a few years ago called the Coach Hadley in exotic emboss. I get compliments on it on a daily basis. It's my work bag but it's so chic.

From the newer styles, I just purchased my first Zoe which is pretty clearly the factory version of the Rogue, but I like that its lightweight but still has a lot of hardware. I'm big into bling.
Prior to that, the micro Sage bag has been my go to going out bag. They usually have some sort of special that it's easy enough to get one or two a year depending on your budget but it allows you to have a playful, out there color and one for everyday occasions.

Sorry I rambled -- but this is my all time favorite, the Hadley.

My friend bought a Hadley in Saddle one day when I dragged her to the outlet, and it was her first ever Coach bag. She carried the heck out of that thing for probably 2-3 years straight. It got softer and softer, but still looked as good as the day she bought it. Great bag.

IMG_0980.jpg I hate to say it, but I used to be one of those people that stayed away from MFF bags. Also, I had stayed away from Coach for many years as I started purchasing from other brands and dipping into the high end brands. I rediscovered them just a few years ago and can truly appreciate the quality and beauty of their bags. I'm quite sad that I missed some of their really good years with bags like the Legacy pieces and the very much loved Dakotah. I've managed to acquire many of these items through the second hand market, which can attest to the quality of the purse. Which brings me to the outlet stores. I would go in occasionally and just couldn't appreciate them compared to the boutique items, but one day I was watching YouTube and someone had a Sierra satchel. I loved the silhouette of the bag and so decided to pick one up. I know it had a comparable one at the retail store, but it didn't have the mini and there was just something that appealed to me more about the outlet version. Next thing you know I picked up the mini Charlie and now I have two Mae crossbodies. So far, the Sierra and Charlie have held up awesomely, but then again I have always been kind to my bags. I'm loving my Maes and have used them interchangeably in the past two weeks. I am definitely a MFF convert.

I have only purchased a few things from the outlet but one I love love love is my lexy. I got it before I splurged on my Edie, and while I love the color of the Edie and all those fabulous turnlocks, I’ll be honest I kind of hate the leather. It’s so stiff and it creases rather than slouches. The lexy is so freaking soft and developed the most beautiful slouch. I need it in other colours.

I have many 1941 bags (mostly Rogues) and I LOVE many of the outlet styles! Over the past couple of years I think the quality and styling has gone way up for MFF bags. I’ve owned a few Carries, Bennett satchels, Lex flap ... I could go on lol but my recent MFF fav are the Cassidy cross-bodies. I own 2 and they are so great.

I always look at the Sage and Surrey carryalls. I like how they come in a billion colors and sizes. And I’m loving the hot pink Emma Satchel that was just released. I never thought I’d want such a bright bag but it’s calling my name lol

I’ve said this a few times but I’ve really only been interested in the Rogue and now that it’s being discontinued I’ll probably look to MFF styles for larger bags. I haven’t really liked much of this past years retail boutique bags.

I agree with you! I have two Lexy’s and two Edie’s (one old 31 and one newer 31). I reach for my Lexy’s more often. I love it for all the reasons you mentioned plus I think the shoulder drop is better. I also love the setup with the two slip pockets in the first compartment of the Lexy better than the one larger slip pocket in the new Edie 31.

My sister has been carrying the mini Charlie backpack from the outlet for the last couple of years. She loves it!
I just purchased a saddle town tote and black town tote from the outlet as gifts for my mom and aunt. They were really beautiful! Full Leather interior. I was very impressed so definitely recommend that style.

I totally agree. I have a pebbled leather Lexy and love the slouchy shape of it and larger size. The Edie photographs beautifully but I was disappointed at the boxy, stiff feel of it when I looked at it in the store.
