Favorite MM Sticky from Bug Spray. Please help.

Hello fellow LV lovers, I'm on vacation in St. Thomas U.S.V.I. and the mosquitos here are terrible. I sprayed some OFF bug spray on my legs and placed my Favorite MM on my lap during the taxi ride on my way to dinner. Now the bottom of my bag is very sticky from the bug spray. I tried wiping it off with a Wet One but that did nothing. Do any of you have any suggestions as to how to remove the stickiness? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am SO JEALOUS. This is one of my favorite places to go! Lucky girl! I guess I would try either a water baby wipe or plain old soap and water. Enjoy your vacation!!!

I would try pure talcum powder. I recently wrote a thread about using talc on the glazing of my bandoulière mono/noir leather strap. It worked wonders.

Baby powder may be ok but check the ingredients, usually it’s called baby powder because other ingredients are present such as aloe or fragrance.
