Favorite Lightweight medium bags? (Preferably leather)

I’m currently using a Balenciaga Day and while I love it, it’s a little large and overwhelming for my small 5’2 frame.
Also, it’s HEAVY. Probably because I carry way too much in it but it’s currently killing my shoulder

I’m looking for something a teensy bit smaller, but with a light material. I’d like leather but am open to any bag that fits my lightweight criteria.
No obvious branding or logos, like LV please.

It doesn’t need to be a current style. I am willing to purchase something preloved!

Why not a Longchamp Cuir, designerdiva?
I have one in medium size.
It can be handcarried( your shoulder will be grateful) and has a strap too.
Here is a pic of mine. The Cuir comes in lots of lovely colours.

Balenciaga small city or town. so light (in agneau). i basically only use this type of bag now, in several colours

If you like Balenciaga you might also like Proenza Schouler bags (the PS1 tiny or medium), they also line in fabric so the bags are lightweight, and their leather feels similar to Balenciaga. The prices are also low for preloved.

I second this - the leather Longchamp Le Pliage "The Fold" are the lightest bags I know of.

Dear all, I’m bumping this thread for maybe some more ideas? I was thinking of a Céline small cabas, but I’m skeptical about the open top... I would also love the bag to be a light color to use mostly in the summer. And it needs to fit some stuff. So no mini size, plus it should be carried also crossbody...
I have so many specifications, that I think I will never find a bag that fits all of them... ☹️

Currently using a Coach Duffle 20 (mine is in the Saddle color.) It's a small-medium bag, no obvious logos when the leather tag is taken off. Fits anything I might need, plus a water bottle or book for the summer days.

You can also consider Loewe puzzle bag. It’s super lightweight but it holds quite a bit.

I find balenciaga city in small or regular size to be very light! Go for regular hardware. The small comes with a crossbody strap and it's roomier than the mini.
My other light bag that is roomy with zipped closure is the speedy b25, but seems like lv and non leather is out of the equation.

You can if you have Massaccesi make one for you. Check out his bags. And at a price of between $400-450. Quality is stellar.

Do you mean the oldie hobo day bag? Unfortunately, I’m very hesitant to buy second hand (so many fakes out there)... and where I live, there isn’t much choice...
