I find unboxing videos and reviews entertaining and super helpful when deciding on bags. Anyone here have their own channel, or a favorite vlogger they follow?

Also, has a handbag review / unboxing ever changed your mind about purchasing a bag, either positive or negative?

I love this topic, because I basically only watch videos about luxury shopping LOL. For some escapism (these lovely ladies shop far more than I can and have much more expansive collections), I watch Lydia Elise Millen, inthefrow, pintsizedfashtv, Tamara Kalinic, I am Chouquette, Chase Amie, Sophie Shohet, heyyyjune, fashionablyamy, and Emma Anders. For people I feel like I can relate to more, I really like KWShops. WhatADoll23 also has a great mix of contemporary and premium and is more practical.

And, I definitely definitely look up reviews before making big purchases, and that affects my decision by reinforcing or dissuading!

Love Sophie Shohet. She’s very informative. I also like LVloverCC. She’s not as informative, but I like her unboxings, outfits of the week, and vlogs.

None have really changed my mind as much as confirmed what I already knew. For example, I tried the Loewe Puzzle Bag in store but was turned off by the opening. I watched a couple of reviews and found that this was an issue with most that bought it.

i don't follow anyone specific, I usually just type in the name of the bag I'm interested in and watch all the videos about it, no matter who is reviewing it. My pet peeve is when they talk 20+ minutes about themselves and maybe 3 minutes about the actual bag. I just click out of those long videos. I definitely like to see the bag(s) "live" and demonstrated, it definitely helps. Actually, I like to see lots of items demonstrated on YT before buying (like electronics and fitness gear). But I've never bought something based on someone else's opinion, I just use it for my own decision-making. A lot of these girls are gifted the items or return it straight away so I don't really value their opinions as much as just being able to look at the bag itself.

I can't STAND the 20 minute get-to-the-point-already videos. Maybe if I followed someone consistently but I'm more like you, I watch whoever is reviewing the bag in question.

:tup:This.

Ignore majority of handbag videos. As posters show few features. Then never seem to USE bag. Is posed with some home decor items, then disappears from planet.

How did it function over a year? Ten years? Never happens.

Enjoy krackerslacker. Who reviews bike bags/gear whilst cycling. And reviewed how some handled his S. American riding tour.
At least he's real about it:

Here are people I watch consistently:

Minks4All
Eva in the City
LVloverCC
LuxMommy
Elle Florence

There are a lot of other people I watch and am subscribed to, but eventually I get tired of them and stop watching their videos. I find too many of them a little arrogant and snobbish and over time I find their personalities annoying/grating. Not going to say who...

Others like RoseEllina and Tammy, I really like their personalities, but they don't post a lot, if at all.

LouisVuittonCoffeeLver and WhatADoll23: I think they're funny and down to earth. Also like how blunt they are with their reviews.

That Minks4All girl I could follow - she doesn't come off as showy and gets right to it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Have you watched her videos? No offense but she's notorious for long videos. But she seems really sweet. She lost alot of weight and I was trying to see if she shared any tips on that, but I couldn't find any videos.

She does have long videos but the ones I watched today were to the point and feature a bunch of bags. That I can watch. It's what ccbaggirl89 said about the ones that drone off-topic and then have a 3 minute review buried in the video that's annoying.

She has some disease or something and had surgery or something for it and that caused her weight loss, it wasn't diet. I saw a video maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago where she answers questions and that was something she mentioned. Sorry if I'm not 100% about this but I don't follow her, I just happened to hear that bit, or something similar. It's an illness, I know that much. I can't watch her - I do find she talks too long, and how can you know what question she will answer when? It's like sorting through a needle in a haystack.

Oh goodness, I had no idea! I'm sorry to hear that. I thought maybe she might have answered in one of her videos, but unless it was the main title of the video, there would be no way for me to find it.
