I found this small business recently that makes interesting hair accessories. I got the plain everyday goddess crown and I'm wearing it with my claw clips. It's very nice and comfortable. What's your favorite hair accessory?

In the summer, claw clips. I have long hair, and I keep it up in the summer during the day. That said, there are some really good accessories out there. I also like the bun makers in summer, as well as flower crowns.

I am desperately looking for larger, high quality claw clips ! Unfortunately there are almost only cheap, poorly made plastic clamps...
I would be grateful for any advice

I had the same problem. I wear one almost every day and in different ways. I have fine hair, but a lot of it and have to have it back off my face. I've bought at many price-points and all I can say is, most are terrible. The ones I have now (I think) are from Primark, matte neutral colours and came 4 to a pack but seem very strong with reg. wear. I also have a fancy one with a bow from M&S (also plastic but is covered by the bow). I would tell you about the other ones I've had from Liberty, Selfridges (metal), Claires etc - but they all broke. Doesn't matter what they are made from, the teeth have to be cast in one piece with the body, and it's the spring mechanism that has to hold.

Don't think cheap or expensive, don't worry about what material, think 'strong' and something works with your personal look.

My favourite is a hand-carved horn comb from Hermes. My black leather bow clip from Chanel, and some of my antique combs

I'm still looking for some hair accessories like clamps and pins that don't look girly or romantic, but more grown up and halfway high quality.

This is pretty but exactly what I think is girly and romantic - so cute but not for me :D

Tegen on the other side have some really nice things! Thank you! :) I like how you can select your hair type!

For sure on the VW, it's a certain look the way it's clipped onto a hair elastic on a ponytail, but, it it could be clipped to a hat-band or wear on a ribbon/hairband. My black leather bow I wear under a Chignon or on the side of a French-pleat. VW is quite specific for sure. I am also sure any H twilly on a hair grip would work similarly too.

Great. Yes, me too, but I actually go against type. I go for 'thick' or 'curly' because I need the clamps to hold a lot of hair (which is why I break most of them within a few days).

I love these from Amazon because they have a double claw layer and have a strong hold. (and with my hair going past my boobs, I need all the strength I can get lol)
Unfortunately I see that they're out of stock.

Though I see another version they have is available. (I've never tried this version)

They are not the most "substantial" or weighty hair clip when you hold them or feel them, but everytime I buy one that is thicker and heavier acetate or made of metal, they end up falling out of my hair.
I've had the single color matt versions for 2 years now and they're great! My only issue is that I keep on misplacing them and forgetting where I put them lol.

I too loving using silk scrunchies, they put less stress/pressure on the hair and less likely to form a weird kink.
I am debating on getting a designer one. I know it's a bit silly for the price but gosh they're so darn cute!

@Pollie-Jean, @papertiger, @Sferics, this is my favorite hair clip. It's the best I've found and have bought this particular one for years. I like the simple, discreet design. Plus, the curved shape and the strong spring make them superior in comfort and function. The springs do wear out after a while, but these clips are not expensive to replace.
