Favorite boots for dresses?

I have several long and midi dresses and I'm looking for stylish, comfortable boots to wear with these. I'm not much of a boot person... most of my shoes are MB Hangisi or SF loafers. I need something that I can easily walk 1 mile in NYC in but that would also work for a business casual dinner.

I’m not usually a fan of kitten heels but these boots are so luxurious.
