I know not everyone likes the fast turnover of bags, but here are some positives and why I DO like them

- Not everyone has the same bags (I just checked the MK website and so many 'new' arrivals are selmas and jet set totes in a different colour)
- Fakes not as big of an issue (although they still exist, from what I've seen in the UK at least, Coach fakes are VERY easy to tell apart, especially of new designs)
- If you don't like any of the current bags, you don't have to wait years for new ones you do like!

Although I don't feel like fast turnovers are a must for premier designers, I feel like they definitely are for contemporary.

I was originally a fan of MK, and would only buy MK, but after waiting over a year for more styles (besides new colours/added studs) I got bored... meanwhile as a Coach fan, although not being a huge fan of any of the current styles, I'm looking forward to some of the ones later this year!:D

Personally, I don't enjoy the fast turnover of styles, but at the same time, the turnover often means new and exciting materials come into the lines because they're better suited to a different type of bag.

I have always liked the fast turnover. I am finding it humorous right now though because after all of the talk about how Coach was changing, nothing has really changed. They still produce new styles quickly, they are putting items on sale that they claimed wouldn't go on sale, and you can even find many of those items in department stores on sale or FOS. So all in all, nothing has changed.

What has changed is as others have mentioned in other threads, is the leather. I saw some bags in person recently and was not impressed. I saw the Prince, Nolita, and some others, and they had a very hard leather that reminded me of the Kate Spades and MKs that I have never really liked much.

I finally saw the Swagger in person, and I just didn't think it looked as good in person as it does in pictures. Now I understand why I wasn't as thrilled with my wristlet I had bought as I expected to be. I thought the bags would seem better and it was just the wristlet, but overall I now have taken Swagger off of my want list.

I generally enjoy fast turnover for seeing new things and not having to wait long for something to be marked down.

BUT

I hate it when they have a bunch of things I just LOVE and I just can't afford to get everything. Right now it's Peanuts. Snoopy's my #1, so the pale blue Edie and the Croc Denim Rhyder will have to remain dream bags because I'm sure they'll be gone by the time I have more $$$ to spend.
